Thanks for your valuable comments on the varsity journal. At the journalism school we strive to teach the students the simple technique of visual balance which can be easy to understood and also will be able to attract the attention of the readers. If you kindly look at the other two pages of the journal, you can find out that they have planned in such a manner that they followed the grammar of page make-up principles -- balance, contrast, unity etc with simple geometric form.
